Sinan Barazi

Consultant Neurosurgeon, King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

Sinan was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, and attended Winchester College before starting medical school at King’s College Hospital School of Medicine in London.

He qualified from medical school in 1996 and subsequently served in the 14th Parachute Regiment in France.
His surgical training was at the Atkinson Morley Hospital in London (under Henry Marsh, Anne Moore, Simon Stapleton, Professor Anthony Bell and Francis Johnston), St George’s Hospital and King’s College Hospital. He went on to complete sub-specialty fellowships in the highly respected units in Bologna (under Professors Giorgio Frank and Ernesto Pasquini) and Manchester (under Professor Andrew King and Scott Rutherford).

He was appointed Consultant Neurosurgeon to King’s College Hospital in 2011.

His sub-specialty interests are in pituitary surgery, skull base surgery, and facial pain. He is widely published in the subjects and regularly presents at national and international meetings.

He is Lead of the highly respected Royal College of Surgeons accredited Skull Base fellowship at King’s College Hospital.
