As 2024 comes to a close, I want to thank you for being part of TNA UK. Living with trigeminal neuralgia and facial pain is no small challenge, and this year has brought added pressures, from healthcare delays to financial difficulties.
At TNA UK, we ensure you never face these challenges alone. Our freephone helpline (0800 999 1899, option 1) and email service ([email protected]) offer a listening ear and emotional support to help you navigate the complexities of living with facial pain. If you need to talk, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Meeting many of you this year, both online and in person, reminded us how important these connections are. Thanks to our volunteers, these gatherings foster understanding and provide a shared sense of support. Looking ahead to 2025, we’re pleased to announce plans for an event in Cardiff, supported by the National Lottery. This will be a wonderful opportunity to strengthen our community, and we’ll share more details soon.
The latest edition of our magazine will soon arrive. It includes practical advice on managing facial pain, inspiring member stories, and updates on TNA UK’s work to support the community. We hope it provides encouragement and helpful resources for the year ahead.
Your generosity this year—through renewing memberships, making donations, or purchasing from our shop—has been crucial. We understand the financial challenges many of you face, and your continued support enables us to expand our services, advocate for better treatments, and raise awareness about trigeminal neuralgia and facial pain.
Together, we’ve celebrated personal achievements, such as members navigating healthcare challenges or finding better ways to manage their pain. These successes reflect the resilience and determination of our community.
As we move into 2025, TNA UK remains committed to improving care, increasing recognition, and strengthening the support available for everyone affected by trigeminal neuralgia and facial pain. We look forward to connecting with more of you, alongside your carers, families, and friends, and continuing to grow and strengthen our network.
